Project 'Renovation Beneluxtunnel'

In February 2017, Elinex completed a new UPS project, once again within a tunnel operated by Rijkswaterstaat. After the Velsertunnel, Elinex had the opportunity to devise and supply a solution for the Beneluxtunnel.

In August 2016, Elinex Power Solutions received a contract from CroonWolter&Dros (formerly Croon Elektrotechniek) to replace the emergency power supplies within the Beneluxtunnel. The solution devised by Elinex utilizes the modular and scalable UPS units from Huawei.

The renovation of the Tunnel Technical Installations (TTIs) within the Beneluxtunnel is part of the VIT2 project, which was awarded to the Combination Croon Siemens (CCS) by Rijkswaterstaat in 2015.
