We are looking for a procurement & legal officer who will be responsible for managing supplier contracts and supervising procurement and import activities. This challenging position requires both strategic and operational skills. You will be involved in reviewing and improving procurement contracts, controlling quality specifications and managing import activities. In this multi-faceted role that includes both procurement and legal tasks, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise within a new position.
As procurement & legal officer, you have a versatile role that includes both procurement and legal tasks. You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure an optimal balance between quality, cost and efficiency. In your role, you advise internally on legal issues and ensure that our contracts and documents are legally watertight.
With your broad expertise, you ensure that both legal and operational activities run smoothly. You are a strategic partner for the organisation and work closely with colleagues from different departments.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Management of procurement and supplier contracts;
- Supply chain management;
- Import from China;
- Inventory management and planning;
- Export to EMEA and regulatory compliance in various countries, with a focus on the Netherlands and Belgium;
- Product management;
- OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer);
- Product quality (testing and certifications);
- CE compliance;
- Product cybersecurity (compliance);
- Warranty management;
- Legal contracts with suppliers;
- Supplier agreements;
- Rebate management;
- Supplier relationship management;
- Overseas shipping and transportation management (Incoterms, FOB);
- Warehouse management
- Completed HBO or WO degree (BA or MSc) in procurement, supply chain, business administration, law or similar.
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar position.
- You have demonstrable experience with legal advice, (procurement) strategic issues and policy development.
- Strategic thinking skills, combined with a keen eye for detail.
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
